Kidstuff Playsystems
has been manufacturing playground equipment since 1982 under the
name "Olympic Recreation." Now, in a legal agreement reached
with the U.S. Olympic Committee, we have agreed to change our name.
Our new name is Kidstuff Playsystems.
The earliest
equipment we built is still in use in Highland, Indiana. We started Kidstuff Playsystems with the goals of providing safe, durable and
affordable playground equipment for parks, schools and early learning
programs.
The two founders are still the owners and managers.
George McGuan, President, has a background which includes both mathematics
and carpentry with experience in construction and design. Richard
Hagelberg, C.E.O., earned a Masters Degree in Early Childhood Education
from Columbia Teachers' College and operated child care centers
for 8 years. Kidstuff Playsystems began in George's basement as a
way of producing affordable play equipment for Dick's child care
centers.
We would like to explain how we work with you to solve your playground
problems and fill your playground needs. Much of our information
is on the Website. If you know just what you want, you can work
with us over the phone. In most cases, however, you will want a
sales representative to meet with you to analyze your needs and
make specific recommendations within your budget to fill your needs.
